  • BBC Summer Staff Position!!!

    Bethel Bible Camp has a summer job position available! If you love Bethel, and want to be involved in what goes on behind the scenes, if you like working with computers and with people, then take a moment and consider if you would be interested in working for Bethel for July and August this summer.

    Job Description As Follows:

    Summer administrative assistant

    Start date: July 1, 2016

    End date: August 31, 2016

    Wage: $2500/mo.

    Role: To work alongside the administrative worker and the BBC Committee throughout the

    summer months in various administrative tasks; including developing and implementing a

    follow-up program for the camp, developing and maintaining the web presence of the camp,

    and other duties as they arise. The successful candidate would be responsible to the staffing

    sub-committee. Organizational, computer, and previous experience at Bethel Bible Camp would

    be an asset. Must comply with Bethel Bible Camp’s statement of faith. Must have own

    transportation, to get to and from the camp facility as needed. This job is full time; very self-

    directed, so a responsible, initiative-taking person with the ability to learn quickly is needed.

  • Spring 2016 Camp Work Bees

    Hello Everyone!

    It is that time of year again, the snow has melted and camp is fast approaching us. But, there are a few things that need to be done before camp starts, so we are having a couple camp work bees! We would love it if you would be able to take some time to come and help out at camp! There are a number of jobs to be completed, and need people to get these jobs accomplished.

    The dates for the work bees are April 30th and May 7th.
    Come along at 9am.

    Things to bring:
    – Leaf Rakes
    – Chainsaws
    – Painting clothes
    – A big smile!

    Don’t forget to mark those dates in your calendar! See you there!

  • BBC Spring 2016 Update

    Bethel Bible Camp Spring 2016 Update
    On Friday, April 1st (no fooling!) the camp’s website will be open for registrations for this summer’s camping season. Be sure to register soon, because the camps fill up fast!
    The Bethel Bible Camp Committee is looking for feedback on the following proposal:
    The BBC Committee is looking to increase parent involvement in their child’s camp experience. We are looking at the option of changing the midweek visitors night to an opening night parent meeting and an invitation to the final chapel service. This optional meeting would allow parents to sit down with both the director and speaker of the camp and hear about the camp program. This will also give parents an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about their child’s upcoming week.  The final morning chapel at the end of the week will also be opened up to all parents. Family will be given an opportunity to listen in as campers conclude their week and watch a closing slideshow.

    Besides the ongoing needs of a summer of camp, this year we are not only looking at the building project, but the camp also has 2 summer students and is looking at having a camp manager as well – please consider how you can support us financially, as we continue to serve God together at BBC.

    Reno 2016

    Bethel’s facilities are needing an update and the committee is moving ahead with plans for a MAJOR RENOVATION  beginning demolition in the fall of 2016 right after the camp season. There will be a complete overhaul to the Dinning Hall/Kitchen/Bathroom Building.

  • 3rd ANNUAL BBC SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST

    We are looking for design ideas for the staff shirts this year. The design is totally up to you. Typically a design includes Bethel’s name in some form as well as something that represents the camp.

    Step 1: Create a design.
    Step 2: Send it to Bethel Bible Camp at admin@bethelbiblecamp.com. By MARCH 20th 2016
    Step 3: The Bethel Committee will select a design for the shirts.

    (The winner will be posted @bethelbiblecamp.com & receive a free shirt.)

    Step 4: Volunteer at camp this summer get to rock the new swag.

  • Bethel Work Day – May 9th

    Bethel Bible Camp Work Bee May 9, 9:00am – 4:00 pm

    Projects we are looking at doing this weekend are:
    -cleaning camper cabins
    -cleaning & setting up the kitchen
    -painting
    -cleaning dining hall
    -cleaning eavestrough
    -continue the chapel cleaning
    -raking the pea gravel back onto the paths

    Bethel is also looking for a team of people to give of their time and
    skills to rebuild the mini-golf course. If this is something you are
