Volunteer Coordinator & Facilities Manager

Location: Bethel Bible Camp (County of Westlock, AB)

The Volunteer Coordinator & Facilities Manager is responsible for recruiting, training, and caring for
volunteers who serve at camp, while also overseeing the upkeep, safety, and functionality of camp
buildings, grounds, and equipment. The ideal candidate is a servant-hearted leader who demonstrates
strong organizational skills, practical maintenance ability, and a passion for sharing Christ’s love through
camp ministry.

What You’ll Do
• Join in the recruitment and support of a thriving team of volunteers who serve our campers with Christ-like love
• Maintain and care for buildings, equipment, and camp property
• Lead work teams and create an inviting and safe environment for campers and staff
• Update site content/social media, monitor website performance, and resolve technical issues

• Someone organized, relational, and able to inspire volunteers
• A practical, hands-on problem solver with some skills in maintenance and grounds care

Administrator

Bethel Bible Camp (Westlock, Alberta) has one opening for summer 2026 for an administrator. Please
read the job description below and if you know someone who would be a great fit for the position,

COMPENSATION WAGE: $2750/month plus $0.55/km for driving related tasks within work hours

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role entails working alongside the Bethel Bible Camp Committee in various administrative tasks,
including but not limited to camper registration, staff registration and paperwork, preparation of weekly
staff and camper lists and forms, staff recruitment, camper follow-up, maintaining the web presence of
camp as well as other communications, and various other similar tasks that arise. As well, the directors
of each camp may have programming needs that the administrator will assist with. And, together with
the facilities maintenance worker, they will also open and close each week of camp. The successful
candidate will be responsible to the Staffing sub-committee of Bethel Bible Camp’s board of directors.
Organizational skills, computer skills, and previous camp experience (especially experience at BBC) will
be an asset. Must comply with Bethel Bible Camp’s statement of faith. Must have own transportation to
and from camp facility as needed. This job is full-time and very self-directed, so a responsible, initiative-
taking person with the ability to learn quickly is needed. In addition to this, high inter-personal skills are
essential.

Facilities Maintenance
Worker
